It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our patriarch, Charles Mochoge (formerly of Central Bank of Kenya – Nairobi), of Bogeka Gesoni in Mosocho Division, Kitutu Chache South, Kisii County.

He passed away on Sunday, 29th March 2026.

He was the beloved husband of Mary Kemunto Ogega. He was the loving father of Dennis Mochoge, Alex Mochoge, Kenneth Mochoge and Stanley Mochoge.

Father-in-law of Cynthia Bellmondo, Anne Ng’ang’a and Mary Naliaka.

Grandfather of MaryKerie Moraa Atogo, Dennis Mochoge Atogo (Jnr), Atarah Kemunto and Charles Bellmondo Atogo (Jnr).

Son of the late Lucas Onuong’a and the late Sabina Gesare Onuong’a. Son-in-law of the late David Ogega and the late Makarita Moraa.

Brother of the late Capt. Philip Migisi, Lawrence Onuong’a, Elizabeth Mochere, Mwango Mayaka, Samuel Onuong’a, the late Kisto Nyabuga, John Onuong’a, Walter Mochoge and Peter Makori.

He was nephew of Miyoro, Paul Atogo, Mochoge Mirimba, Nyakenungu, Mokua and Nyagecheme.

Brother-in-law of the late Eudes Migisi, Pauline Otero, the late Mochere, Mayaka, the late Hellen Nyaranda Araka, the late Jane Nyabuga, Maureen Onuong’a, Elizabeth Mochoge and Josephine Makori.

He was a beloved cousin of Mary Mokua, Maurice Motindi, Dominic Motindi, Antony Motindi, Peter Otero, Arasa and many others. Uncle and friend of many.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at the Cardinal Otunga Annexe – 7 th Floor, on Saturday & Monday 5:30 p.m – 7:30 p.m.

The final fundraising will be on Tuesday 7th April 2026 starting from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m at the same venue.

The requiem mass will be held at Holy Family Basilica on 8th April 2026 at 10.00 a.m.
